Having suffered hair loss due to hormonal changes, I was using hair building and hair thickening products for years. Always looking for ways to 'cover up', my hairdresser told me of a new service offered locally, scalp pigmentation as she thought it would benefit me as my hair would not grow back. Obviously I was apprehensive, never having had a tattoo, I didn't know what to expect, especially as the head is a sensitive area. I researched the treatment online and was excited by the results, so I booked a consultation with Phil Poser. On the lead up to the consultation, I was nervous. In the first meeting Phil went through everything! There was no pressure, just lots of information and reassurance, Phil has had the procedure done himself, so I felt that he really knew what he was talking about. His results were proof that this is what I wanted for myself, so I booked up for the treatment. To date, I have had 3 sessions, the results speak for themselves! (Don't expect too much from the first treatment, the results get better after each session). The 'baldness' has gone, I can wash my hair and style it like normal and my confidence has increased too. I'll be honest, there is discomfort in some areas and sitting for 3 or 4 hours hours can be uncomfortable, however the results were so good I will still recommend it Phil is a really fab at putting you at ease, you can take a rest whenever you need, he makes sure you are doing ok through the treatment. He is well travelled and has a lovely family, he has lots to talk about if you want. If you prefer to sit quite that's ok too, whatever you need to do get through it. To me, the worst thing was not being able to wash my hair for days after! I have one more treatment which Phil asked for, he is a perfectectionist! He just wants to make sure it's all settled and address anything that may need attention. Being able to spread the cost over the treatments, which took 3 months meant I could start immediately. If your thinking of having treatment, I hope you find this review useful. I was treated with respect and empathy as baldness is not an easy thing to talk about.

Phil has given me my confidence back following a battle with scaring alopecia. Phil has made a huge change to my life as I no longer need to wear a hat all the time. I would recommend SMP clinic, booking appointments is simple, convenient and Phil will try to accommodate you and your needs.

From the first time I spoke to Phil on the phone I felt so confident that I was going to be in safe hands, and I wasn't wrong!!!!! Phil is so down to earth, makes you feel completely at ease, and explains everything to you so you know at all times what is happening before, during, and after treatment. I had the Plasma Pen treatment with Phil, and I am 11 days post treatment. I am healing beautifully, and very excited already about how my eyes are looking. It's amazing. I am now booked in for more treatment on my face and neck. Thank you Phil. You are a true professional, and totally brilliant at what you do.
