I placed my first order for my new online business and overall the experience was very good. The packing and delivery was extremely quick. The only small issue I had was a pair of the gloves I ordered had a dark stain and there was also a hole in the glove. Apart from that I will be ordering again when I need to restock.

I’ve unfortunately had multiple issues with Pound Wholesale. On several occasions they’ve been unable to fulfil orders because the stock wasn’t actually available. Refunds were processed, which I appreciate, but it becomes frustrating when you reorder once stock shows as available again, only for it not to be fulfilled because the stock has apparently been promised elsewhere. In some cases the products were still advertised on the website and payment was accepted, yet the orders weren’t fulfilled. It feels like stock has been overpromised to multiple customers, with partial refunds issued instead. That doesn’t really solve the problem for me, I place orders expecting the full quantities, not partial deliveries or ongoing adjustments. If you’re going to take on a certain number of customers, there really needs to be enough stock to fulfil orders reliably. Most recently, I ordered a full pallet of stock and three boxes were unavailable. (plus others) When those items came back into stock, I was told they could only be delivered again on a pallet because they are liquid products. I find this explanation weak, as I regularly ship similar items individually without issue. I simply want the stock I originally paid for without repeated delays or “whoops” messages. Another issue was with a parcel delivered by Parcelforce. The outer box arrived in perfectly good condition, but inside there were nine water-damaged boxes, including what appeared to be a footprint on the stock, suggesting someone had stood on it before sending it out. It’s disappointing this was considered acceptable to dispatch. A return has been processed and I’m still awaiting collection after a week, with no confirmation that replacement stock will be sent, which makes the process unnecessarily slow and disruptive. Overall, refunds have been handled, but stock accuracy, fulfilment reliability and logistics handling clearly need improvement from a supplier operating in wholesale distribution.
