Using the chaperone service ensured a seemless end to end service. Of course I had reservations like many about going abroad. Fortunately I had a colleague who recommended Tony Owen and had received a transplant the previous year. I must say from the moment I attended the hospital for the pre op blood test I knew I had chosen well. The hospital was spotlessly clean and the staff extremely friendly and informative. The highlight for me was having Tony attend the meeting with the plastic surgeon to discuss the position of my new hairline. The surgeon drew on my head what he thought was correct based on muscle position and facial movement which is obviously the science part but Tony interjected, based on his hairdressing experience to subtlety modify the line which looked way better. This is the value part in my opinion. Tony was also present and extremely helpful managing our cohort in and out of the hospital, meeting and eating with us in the hotel and responding to every message almost Instantly. I am now day 4 post op, I have some swelling in my face and am resting well. I am admiring to the detailed instructions both written and practically received and feel I am making an excellent recovery. The first 14 days post op are critical!!!!! Recently on the chaperone service with Tony for a hair transplant in Turkey. Tony made the entire experience very relaxed and enjoyable. I've just used Tony Owen's chaperone service for a trip to Istanbul for a hair transplant procedure. When looking into having it done there was a whole swamp of information and mis-information online. It is very hard to know what and who to trust. Tony came on recommendation from a friend of a friend and had great reviews online. He took all of the paranoia and doubt out of the process. Which is very important in what would otherwise be quite a daunting process. It still is daunting, having lots of holes put in your head! but it's great that there's nothing further to worry about. Everything is taken care of, accommodation, transport etc. and Tony is always available on the phone and messages. This really smoothed out the process for me, and his fee is less than 5% of the overall cost, so very reasonable. When it came to the consultation and deciding upon the design of the new hairline it was great to have Tony in the room. We had already discussed what I wanted before hand. He knows the surgeon and he knows his stuff, so its a nice little forum to get the right decision, there was no rush and we went through a few alternatives. Before, during and after the procedure Tony has been available for any questions or concerns and is clearly very experienced in this industry. I would strongly recommend the chaperone service and I can't wait to enjoy the results of the procedure.
