I had a very disappointing experience at Sally’s in Cambridge today. I drove a long distance to purchase salon supplies on behalf of the salon owner, who is currently unwell. As a regular professional customer, we normally purchase large quantities of products such as colours, developers, foils, bleach, and K18 treatments — so this was not a small visit. After the long drive, I briefly parked in the empty car park before going to get something to eat so I could sort myself out first and then come into the store to complete our shopping. As I stepped away from the car, a member of staff with short blonde hair immediately started shouting that I was not allowed to park there and insisted I move my car straight away. I explained I was about to come in and shop, but she showed no flexibility or understanding and only wanted me to leave and move the vehicle. There was absolutely no reason to speak to me in such a rude and confrontational manner. She also stated that K18 products are no longer made, which is incorrect — we were able to purchase them elsewhere without any issue. The dismissive and smug attitude was very unprofessional and not what you would expect from a trade supplier. Due to this poor customer service, we chose to place our large order with Salons Direct and Barkers instead. As a salon that regularly spends significant amounts on professional products, we expect respectful and knowledgeable service. We will not be returning.

Appalling Company..... only left 1 star because you cannot leave 0..!! Ordered colour product and developer to try in our Salons.. Developer never turned up even though charged for ! Customer service answer is that the web site is not live and there is always a chance items may be out of stock !!! 2025 and the web site cannot carry live stock levels !!! The colour I ordered with the developer turned up however it can only be used with the o/s activator... Guess what there is a £6 minimum charge to return the useless colour !!! Apparently Salon Services only refund without charge if the item is faulty ! Not unusable !!! AVOID SALON SERVICES AT ALL COSTS ..... WE WILL ..... 40 years in Hairdressing and this is the first time I have experienced such ridiculous and appalling customer service

CLOSED!!! 10:00am and just driven 45 minutes and taken unpaid leave to collect an item I urgentky need to find they are shut. Website says 8:30am open. Beyond angry but this is not the first Salon Services store to be tardy! They should remove the word 'Services' and just put salon stuff!!!!
