I have been having my extensions done at Dolled Up for 3 years now and would NEVER go anywhere else. The ladies are absolutely amazing at what they do and I always leave so happy with the results. I’ve known Rachel for around seven years now, and she is truly one of the most exceptionally talented people when it comes to hair extensions. No matter your hair type or colour, she can match it perfectly — her knowledge and attention to detail are second to none. Laura and Sue are absolutely incredible as well, and they usually fit the extensions together as a team. The whole experience feels so professional, yet so warm and welcoming at the same time. The salon has such a lovely, friendly environment — you instantly feel comfortable and looked after from the moment you walk in. What really stands out is how much they genuinely care about the final result. They take their time, make sure everything is perfect, and won’t settle for anything less than you absolutely loving your hair. They are all so friendly, caring, and genuinely lovely people. Every time you have your hair done at Dolled Up, you leave feeling amazing. While hair extensions can be an investment, the quality of the hair is incredible and it lasts such a long time if you take care of it properly. I’ve never had any issues with my extensions. I can't thank Rachael enough for how she's just sorted my hair out. I came in for a consultation first as I wanted a 'second opinion' on bonded hair extensions I'd already had in for around a month but was really unhappy with. I wasn't sure if I just didn't have realistic expectations of how they should be fitted, look and feel. Rachael explained that basically the whole lot needed to come out and she and her team could re-bond and refit them. Roll forward another week and I've just had them redone by Rachael and her team. The difference between her work and what I'd had in previously is like night and day. They are absolutely amazing - totally on a different planet. I had all three of them working on my extensions - taking them out, stripping off the old bonds, rebonding them with new keratin and putting them back in. They are so welcoming and friendly, which I really needed as I was feeling a bit fragile. The attention to detail and constant checking of my hair as they were going through the process was very reassuring so, although I was at first a little worried after my previous bad experience elsewhere, I just trusted them and left them to it. The new bonds are probably less than a quarter of the size of my old ones, which were badly placed and visible no matter what I did with my hair. My only regret is not getting before and after photos and being able to show the contrast. The results are amazing and I can hardly tell they are in there, compared with the old ones, which I could always feel and made me itch. I've got very, very fine hair with some thinning towards the front near my temples but all this was taken into account when positioning them. I've tried putting my hair up in positions that would have been impossible with the old ones and they simply don't show. I just wish I'd found Rachael and her team first, but never mind - I have them now and won't be going anywhere else.
