I did extensive research on SMP and artist practitioners to determine whether it was the optimal hair loss/thinning solution for me. After evaluating various artists on Youtube and over the internet I selected Creative Scalps (and another provider) to conduct further research. Unquestionably there are a lot of inexperienced charlatan's in this business that can create havoc with your appearance; I strongly suggest that price not be your guiding principal. After doing so, I had a videocall with Marc Allen to vet/gain better clarity on the procedure, his background, philosophy, portfolio of results, aftercare, etc. I concluded that solution would meet my objectives (natural look, immediate results, minimal after care, provider experience, etc.) and I wanted Creative Scalps to do the work. I booked an appointment within a year of initially speaking with Marc and visited his studio in the UK (twice over a 90 day period) from New England (US) to have the procedure performed by Sammy Dean. Sammy trained under Marc and has extensive experience honed over many years. From the get-go, Sammy treated me like an old friend, outlining the procedure, creating a strawman hairline with a white pencil, and executing on the agreed upon vision. The procedure is minimally invasive/ uncomfortable; the studio is stylish/ serene complemented with wonderful acid jazz playing in the background. The work met and exceeded any expectations that I had; refreshed my appearance and having "hair" has given me confidence that I didn't even realize that I lacked. The Creative Scalp guys are the real deal (GOAT's) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them unconditionally. I am confident, should you decide to have SMP with Creative that you will not be disappointed in the results so long as your goals/objectives are consistent with the CS philosophy. To top it off, I now have amazing friends in the UK :) and I am looking forward to seeing Sammy, Marc and Sara over the next 12-18 mos. to keep things looking great.

I can’t recommend Creative Scalp of Crawley highly enough. From the very first consultation, the experience was professional, reassuring, and genuinely friendly. Everything was explained clearly, with honest advice and realistic expectations — no pressure at all. The attention to detail during the treatment was exceptional. The clinic is spotless, comfortable, and you’re made to feel completely at ease throughout the process. The results have exceeded my expectations — incredibly natural, precise, and confidence-boosting. What really sets Creative Scalp apart is the passion and care behind the work. It’s clear they take huge pride in what they do, and it shows in the final outcome. If you’re considering scalp micropigmentation and want a team you can fully trust, look no further. An absolute 10/10 experience from start to finish.

Just finished my 3rd session with Marc and I couldn't be happier with the results. Was definitely a bit nervous before we started about how it would look but final results are better than I could expected. Do not hesitate if you are considering it and book with Marc. He's truly the best around if you want suttle realistic smp. You won't be disappointed. Everyone at creative scalps are amazing.5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Life changing experience 5* I had SMP done a few years prior with another company but I was never fully happy with the finish and I'd still wear hats where I could. I went to Marc to see if he could fix it with his magic, the result has completely changed my confidence. When I mention I've had SMP people genuinely don't believe it! I was a bit apprehensive about having it done again, but Marc spent the time to talk about what I wanted, made sure I was happy before starting. Nothing felt rushed and the whole team are welcoming. Please don't make the same mistake I made and get it done right the first time. Go to Creative scalps!!

Having had a hair transplant leaving my donor area ruined several years back, I've been self conscious about the see-through-ness of my hair. A lot of people that look into SMP are seemingly bald (at least most of the pictures online or on their websites would lead me to believe that they brave the shave). Creative Scalps was one of the few that had examples of work where they had applied density to people that wanted to keep their hair, and I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the pictures. I literally thought they were photoshopped! Now I'm pretty extensive when I look into anything, and if I was going to be messing around with my hair again, I was definitely going to get it right this time. I'd never heard of SMP, my wife put me on to it as she shared a post on Instagram of another clinic. Whilst I thought it looked good, it didn't look quite "natural" to me and so begun my research into the world of SMP. After hours of digging around, Creative Scalps kept coming up. I tend to use reddit to find authentic reviews or people discussing their experiences and Marc, Will and Sammy from Creative Scalps kept popping up as recommended. In Every. Single. Thread. I took the plunge and reached out, chatting with Sara on WhatsApp who was great at every stage and then had an initial video chat with Marc, to get to understand the process a bit better. He wasn't pushy at all, very matter of fact, answered all my questions and gave me time to think about it. Due to his availability and me wanting to start a bit sooner, I decided to book with Will who was available a bit sooner. (You will also find Scalp Nation, that Will runs comes up frequently on those reddit forums FYI). Again, I had a quick video chat with Will, which went great, we figured out the dates and got booked in! Due to my tight timelines and availability I think Will even kindly came down on Sundays for each of my 3 appointments, what a guy! Fast forwards to the first appointment. I've never had a tattoo (albeit the hair transplant was ridiculously painful) so wasn't sure what to expect, but honestly it wasn't painful at all if that's something worrying to you. I met Will and Marc and they were both great guys, Will took some before pictures and got started on my head, which took several hours. Throughout we just chatted, joked etc and it was very easy going, Will is a lovely guy and a pleasure to chat to. Getting home after my first appointment, my wife was shocked at how different my head looked, it had already made such a vast improvement! Even in aggressive lighting where my hair would normally be see-through. My next two sessions went similarly, great experience (even when I was very ill and had to reschedule one appointment), really easy chatting to Will and extremely pleased with the results. I'm about 1 month on from my last appointment and it looks so so much better than before. For context, before if I hadn't washed my hair for even 1 day, it would be greasy and see-through, like to the scalp. Now if I don't wash my hair for several days (which you have to do after an appointment) it will still be greasy (cause just my hair) but it is not see-through at all! It's like some sort of dark magic Will has worked on my head. If I ever want a top up, I'll 100% be going back to Will, he's done such a great job and is a top guy. Thanks to the entire Creative Scalps team, Sara, Marc, Will and Sammy! If you've got this far, stop reading reviews, close all those reddit forums / SMP website recommendations and just book with one of the Creative Scalps team, you won't regret it. Note: I’ve added some pictures. I haven’t taken any proper once after my third session but rest assured it looks even better than the photos below after the second session and the night before my third session at home - can you even believe the before and after? It’s mental!
