I don't normally write reviews, but for Kate I felt I absolutely had to. She is amazing at what she does. Caring, compassionate, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I started HRT and 3 months later I began losing literal hand fulls of hair every time I washed it. I was already suffering with perimenopause and this just added to my symptoms, making me anxious and depressed. I was signed off work. I didn't want to get out of bed in a morning. I put off washing my hair as much as possible because I couldn't bear to see more hair loss. It was bad! I couldn't wait for a GP referral to a dermatologist, so I went to see Kate in August 2025. She was an absolute star. She told me straight away the hair loss was hormonal related to do with the HRT. She gave me a handful of suggestions to try. She didn't try to sell me anything. After the appointment she sent me a detailed email with all her product recommendations and fact sheets for how to use them. Most of her recommendations could be purchased from Amazon. I tried them all (minoxidil, supplements, dermarolling, laser comb) and used them reliously. I emailed Kate numerous times with lots of questions when I was unsure of anything. She was always happy to help and responded quickly. I had my follow up appointment with her 2 days ago and the comparison photos are staggering. I don't recall my hair being as bad as the photos show, but it's definitely on the road to recovery now and in much better condition thanks to Kate. I cannot recommend her more highly. I could not recommend Kate enough – a consummate professional who knows her stuff, and a truly warm, empathetic person. I first came across Kate through her social media channels when I was experiencing some severe hair loss. It was really upsetting and I didn't know where to turn having lost around 30-50% of my hair density. Thank god I travelled to Manchester to see Kate! In our initial assessment she took the time to listen to my history, understand my medications and supplements, view my scalp with a microscopic camera, and take photos of my partings. After this, she very thoroughly discussed what she believed to be the cause of my hair loss issues (telogen effluvium and female pattern hair loss) and put together a comprehensive plan for me moving forward. She even juggled my supplements around and suggested I take them differently. I felt so reassured and relieved walking away from Kate's clinic knowing what was happening to me was normal and things would get better. Now, my hair is healthier than ever. Within the first month I noticed new growth, and six months on at my follow-up review, I felt like I had a brand new head of hair (please see uploaded photos for progress). I went for a follow up appointment 3 months after the initial consultation and have seen a big difference in improvement to my hair! I have been suffering with hair loss around the sides and top of my head which made me self conscious and dislike my hair. Kate is super helpful and knowledgeable with hair and scalp conditions, i felt comfortable with her to confide in the issues i had and she helped me with an answer as to why i was losing hair. She is patient, listens and is thorough on explaining treatment plans available in the market but not forceful at all. I highly recommend Kate and she will definitely be my first point of contact if i have other hair issues Thank you again Kate!
