I had my first consultation with Dawn Hilton on the 12 December 2025 when I presented with an extremely itchy scalp. I had previously contacted my GP but as they could not physically see anything they couldn’t help and suggested anti histamines which unfortunately makes my severe dry eye condition a lot worse. At my initial consultation with Dawn she was very thorough checking through my medical history including recent blood tests. When she used the microscope on my scalp and screen shotted images you could see multiple scaly patches on my scalp and in some instances collars around the bottom of the hair shaft. Dawn recommended three types of medicated shampoo to try to resolve the issue. I chose Vichy Dercos shampoo as my preferred shampoo and am pleased with the results. I visited Dawn again today 6 February 2026 and when she compared screen shots with my last visit there was a big improvement in the condition of my scalp. Dawn reassured me that we are heading in the right direction and to continue with the plan. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dawn for her professionalism, knowledge and empathy when dealing with such delicate issues.
