Extremely Disappointed – Ruined My Hair I had a terrible experience at Head and Hair Salon. I originally booked my balayage appointment with Becky, who did my consultation and understood exactly what I wanted. However, on the day of my appointment, Tara ended up working on my hair instead, without allowing Becky to do the balayage as agreed. I paid £167 for what was supposed to be a balayage and haircut, but what I actually received were just a few ordinary highlights and a minor trim, not a proper haircut. When I asked Tara to show me the colour she was using, she refused to show me, which was very unprofessional. Even other reputable salons I visited afterward confirmed that what Tara did was not balayage, only basic highlights. The color application was poor, especially around my face, and the results looked uneven and patchy. The quality of the color also seemed very low, as it looked dull and unnatural even after several days. To make things worse, since this appointment my hair has started falling, and I have no idea what kind of products or materials they used. This is extremely concerning and disappointing. When I politely asked Tara to correct the color and actually do the balayage I paid for, she refused and argued instead of listening. Overall, this was a complete waste of money and time. I do not recommend Tara at this salon, especially for balayage or any coloring services. The lack of skill, professionalism, and care for the client’s hair was very disappointing.

I had a full head of highlights and cut with Maddy today. I hadn’t been to the salon for a while and was very impressed with the lovely service and I really like my colour and cut. Thank you ❤️

Hollie is very professional and nice. These are the photos of before and after. I cut some bits of my hair myself really short so they are uneven and damaged from my box hair dye, and Hollie done such an amazing job, done exactly what I showed her for the colour, very patient and nice , and the damaged bits are gone too. The patchy orange bits are all gone now and covered by a natural brown balayage and my hair doesn’t feel damaged afterwards I did balayage with her and really recommend it.
