Took our 20 month old son for his first ever hair cut. We were quite apprehensive as this was a new experience but we needn’t have worried, we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. DeeJay was excellent from getting our son used to all the equipment beforehand, to talking us through everything and making us all feel at ease. As this was his first haircut we even got to take some of his cut hair home with us a memento. Would highly recommend and will be most definitely be taking our son back here for future haircuts.

Can’t recommend this barbers enough! Deejay was great with our son and talked him through the process and made the experience fun! And my husband finally got his hair cut after years of me cutting it and he loves it! Highly highly recommend!!!

Amazing experience with Dee Jay! We booked over the phone as the online booking system was not working. I originally just booked my 11 year old son in, but we came away with my almost 1 year old having his hair cut too as Deejay offers free cut for infants that have never had a haircut before. Dee Jay was great with my children, my eldest found him hilarious! I was worried about my 1 year old as he is very active, but Dee Jay knew exactly what he was doing and had the patience of a saint. Highly recommend!

As someone who isn’t familiar with barbers, for context my son is 18 months old and my husband is bald! We needed to get my little one a haircut finally! We saw the sign for this in heavitree and decided to try it out and see if they fit him in, Dee Jay was absolutely fantastic from the get go. So patient, reassured us so much and a just made it the perfect experience of what could have been a traumatic one! We’ve all heard horror stories of kids getting their haircuts 🤦‍♀️ the barbers in there had never seen us before nor were they recommended, this was just on the off chance and what a great chance it was, treated us so so kindly! I couldn’t have been more pleased with his hair, we will definitely be making this our sons barbers without a doubt. Thank you so much from an anxious mum!

Toddler’s first haircut Just wanted to share that I got my toddlers first haircut today at The Execlusive Barber Club in Heavitree. We were seen by Dee Jay, who was amazing from the start. He let my little boy touch the electric shaver in order to get used to it (he was quite unsettled from the moment we walked in bless him) so in the end we opted for a scissor cut. My boy cried the entire time but Dee Jay stayed super calm, said he gets this all the time and reassured me that my son wasn’t even that bad compared to some of the kids that kick off during their haircut. He also gave my 4-year old a lolly and encouraged her to help out with the haircut bits to keep her entertained. Amazing experience all round!
