Had my first appointment yesterday with Maddie and Ella. I had an amazing experience, everyone was lovely and very welcoming. Maddie did my balayage, she did an excellent job, by far the best i’ve ever had!! She was very attentive to what I wanted and gave me an exact replica to the pictures I showed her. The colour and dimensions are perfect and it all blends beautifully while still leaving my hair feeling healthy. Ella also did a great job at my cut and style and was lovely to talk to! Overall great experience and results, will definitely be back!!

I had a cut and colour done at the hair boutique. The staff are all friendly and attentive. I wasn’t initially happy with the resulting colour, it wasn’t really what I’d asked for, which is always an awkward situation, but the salon dealt with it really well and corrected it free of charge and very graciously. Really happy with the final result. 10/10 for customer service on correction!

I came back to this salon because my last curly cut with Nicky was amazing — thorough consultation, everything explained clearly, and a fantastic result. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. I booked with Georgina as Nicky wasn’t available, and from the start she made the appointment feel unwelcoming. She seemed as though she didn’t want to be there, which immediately made the experience uncomfortable. The appointment was meant to be 1 hour 30 minutes but lasted no more than 40. The consultation was rushed (around five minutes), asked for just my ends taken off and layers for added volume. I could see that she was taking much more than just the ends and blamed the short length on my hair "bouncing up". After washing, she used a brush covered in long black hairs without cleaning it, and when asked how I usually style my hair, I answered without a parting (as I like my hair to have more volume), and she proceeded to style it with a middle part. She didn’t properly refine the cut once dry and styled (which Nicky spent lots of time doing due to my mixed curl type), and I left with wet roots because my hair wasn’t fully dried. My face-framing pieces were uneven by at least two inches. The whole service felt rushed, careless, and dismissive. I left really disappointed and robbed of my money as the service cost over £100 due to her being a "style director". Would not recommend this stylist! I would be willing to come back to this salon but absolutely not to this stylist!
