Anthony James Hair Salon - Halifax

I bless the day when I walked through the door of Anthony James salon. Chrissie my stylist is a magician with scissors. Her advice due to her experience and knowledge is second to none. She also an extremely nice person. The rest of the staff that I have met are equally, personable and helpful. The price is more than I’ve paid in the past, but worth every penny, The salon appears small, but it like the Tardis, deceptive and it spotless.

I have Uber Uber uuuuber thick and difficult hair but somehow, Joanne just makes it look like a walk in the park! I always love how I look leaving the salon which is a feat in itself as my hair usually dictates a lot of how I feel. She’s very good at different and unusual techniques for thinning hair out and absolutely knows her stuff. A hairdresser you trust to do what you want and love is a true gem! Highly recommend. (And the coffee is spot on aswell) 😉

I first visited in November last year and had my hair done by Chrissy. I’m not local to the area and I always get a bit panicked about choosing where to go, but Chrissy did a fantastic job and completely put me at ease. I meant to review at the time and completely forgot. Fast forward to today and I’ve been back again, this time with Georgina, and what a fantastic experience. My hair is absolutely fabulous and the colour is spot on. Georgina was so informative and I’ve come away feeling like I’ve actually learnt loads. I was really well looked after from start to finish. Had two coffees and had to politely decline a third risk of not sleeping tonight. Such a great salon with lovely people and a really relaxed friendly atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend.
