I was really disappointed in the training provided by heart of England hairdressing. My daughter spent two and a half years on her apprenticeship - the entire first year the building was out of use and she never stepped foot in college, the salon she was in used her as a cleaner and did little to help her progress and she wasn’t given any constructive feedback throughout and no indication that she was unlikely to pass. She failed the final assessment and was left with her confidence at rock bottom and it felt like a complete waste of two and a half years. I have raised this with the centre and was assured they would look into it- no response six months later!

I recently visited this training salon where students learn how to do hair, and I had a great experience. I was able to get an appointment stright away with no waiting, which was a pleasant surprise. I was curious to see what the students could do, and I’m really glad I went. Lucia took care of me, she cut and styled my hair beautifully. I gave her full freedom to choose the blow-dry style, and she did an excellent job. She is a lovely young lady with a lot of potential, and I’m happy she could practice on my hair. The teachers were very supportive and you can clearly see that this is a great place for young people who want to learn the profession. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my visit and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Evan washed and cut my hair and did an excellent job. He was very careful to check what I wanted and I was really pleased with the result. The salon is beautiful and the teacher checked everything that was going on. I would highly recommend it.
