Nacre Hair and Beauty – Newport

I had a wonderful experience. Abi and Lou lou did my hair keratin treatment. Am writing this review after my third wash and my hair is now less frizzy compared to how it was before.

I have been to the salons multiple times now to get my eyebrows done. All those experiences were good. But today I went in and was sat waiting 15 minutes after my appointment time as I had been double booked so there wasn’t enough staff for clients. Thankfully a lovely lady getting her nails done said I could go next. But if she didn’t, I would have just been sat there. Then my eyebrows were done. Felt like such a rushed experience. No wipe clean on the brows before starting, straight with the wax, it felt rushed, no care taken so I still had stray hairs when I got home and looked. Also where it was plucked all the hair was left on my face, no wipe cleaning with gel after the wax. Just done. I left and my skin was stinging soon as I went in the fresh air. I looked in the mirror and half my skin was grazed, was sore. It still stings now 12 hours later. Wax was in my hair, bits of it left on my face. I didn’t want to go back and complain as the salon was full of clients. I have emailed and I am awaiting a response because this isn’t okay!

I had an appointment for a dry cut yesterday and I couldn’t ask for more! Even if was very busy the lady took her time and didn’t rush to finish .. she was very nice, calm and she answered very politely and with professionalism to all my questions! I have 10 years since I live in Newport but for the first time I have the confidence to go again in a hair salon because I will not regret it! Thank you so much because I love my hair cut❤️
