Have avoided hairdressers as don’t like the wait .Passed Elliot’s and was offered a seat straight away.Nice cut and friendly hairdresser.Reasonably priced.

Went into these hairdressers as was running desperately late 1 night before my daughter's school photo shoot and was seen straight away despite being close to closing time, very appreciative. £10 for my 5 year old daughters haircut was good value as the hairdressers above quoted me £30 for a 5 year old. Good on you Elliotts hairdressers! :)

Fast service, polite staff, decent haircut at a reasonable price. Emily cut my hair today, she’s always a jolly soul, always down to chat about anything, bless her think she’s heard more about motorbikes cutting my hair than she has in her entire life.

Unfortunately, we made a snap decision today to get my 11 year old son's hair cut here. He started with lovely thick, long hair needing a tidy up ready for school next week. He usually has a number 2 around the side and keeps it long on top, never had any issues before anywhere else. Firstly, the lady who did it did an awful job of blending the back, so politely I asked her to fix it. I hadn't noticed what an awful job she'd done on the top. She just kept hacking away making it worse. My son is a polite kid, but he was holding back tears and understandably annoyed when she was finished. It looked terrible. A second lady offered to try to fix it, because it was so obviously AWFUL. She tidied it up at the back, which has now left him with super short, spikey hair, right up to the crown. The fringe wasn't fixable, its wonky and thin. It's not even central. The initial lady didnt apologise, instead she blamed my son for not 'moving his head'?! She just spoke over me when I was calmly trying to express my concern. Maybe she was embarrassed, but considering how badly she messed up, a simple acknowledgement wouldve been fair. That being said, when I refused to pay there was no fuss, and the manager gave him a texurising powder for free when I fully expected to pay for it. Going to places like this is a HUGE gamble, and I dont doubt that most will do a decent job. Unfortunately today, we drew the short straw and ended up with a absolutely horrible hair cut. Gutted to say the least, my son seems to have accepted it is what it is now which is great, however I am very angry this woman continued to hack away at it when it was likely obvious to her she had messed up. She should've owned it, apologised and asked someone else to take over. For an almost 12 year old who's just started secondary school, a bad hair cut is a big deal. We will not be returning.

I had a cut and blow dry, done by Cody. What a friendly and knowledgeable young guy. He carried out a thorough consultation. Asking me about my lifestyle, and which hair products I use. He told me that the shampoo and conditioner I was using was stripping my hair colour. And recommended a different shampoo and conditioner. Which I could buy at Boots. He didn't try and sell me products. Instead he gave me the best hair cut I've had in years! I walked out of the salon feeling amazing! Cody is my hairdresser from now on
