The Hair Emporium

Natasha has been cutting my hair every six weeks for quite a while now and she never disappoints. She always listens to what I want and my hair always looks great when I leave. There is always a warm welcome and all the stylists are friendly which makes for a nice atmosphere in the salon.

I was really looking forward to my appointment here as every time I walked past the salon it always seemed busy, and the reviews were generally very positive. Unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed with the service. I was only going brunette with a few blonde pieces, but there were multiple people working on my hair, which felt a bit disjointed. In particular, I was really upset during the colour application with Abbie. She appeared as though she didn’t want to be there, was slapping the colour on very roughly, and it ended up all over my face. It felt very unprofessional, and I even asked her if she wanted to take a minute to gather herself as the situation was quite uncomfortable. Sally Anne and her mum did seem to know exactly what they were doing and were kind and reassuring, however I wasn’t actually booked in with them. I was also slightly disappointed with the end result, as I had asked for more blonde around the front. After everything that had happened, though, I just wanted to leave rather than ask for changes. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially given how much I was looking forward to my visit. Further to my original review, I attended the salon on Thursday following a lovely phone call from Anne. She listened and was very apologetic for the experience. Anne listened to what I wanted and invited me back to the salon and it’s exactly what I wanted. Thank you

I felt very comfortable and confident with my stylist. I felt listened to. The salon was exceptionally clean and tidy. The coffee was great too! I’ll definitely be going back.

Sallyanne went above & beyond to get my hair just as I wanted it. Nothing was too much trouble for her to get it just right. She knew just what style would suit me & made sure everything she did would result in my desired style. I really appreciated the trouble Sallyanne went to.

The salon was busy today which made for a happy atmosphere, as usual Sallyanne and her staff were warm and welcoming. It’s a lovely salon and I’m so pleased to have found it. Sallyanne makes my hair look natural and groomed with her tremendous scissor and colouring skills. Thank you lovely people.
