Hope was amazing. I had a curly hair cut from her. She imparted a great deal of knowledge about how to care for curly hair while cutting my hair and chatting. Also learnt about products to use without feeling like she was selling them to me. The salon was clean, welcoming and not too noisy. I would highly recommend her and the salon.

Always a pleasure to have my hair cut here. They make you feel like royalty! When I started going to Yoke, I was just a guy who grew his hair long without knowing anything about it. Amelia and Lucy have been very helpful in teaching me how to take care of my hair, and they've always known exactly how to tidy it up and cut it to the length that I like it. Every hair cut I've had here has been perfect. I'm kind of obsessed with my hair since coming here, and so is everyone else 😂 I've always been offered a head massage as well before my cut so it really feels like a spa/pamper day when I visit. I used to get nervous about hair cuts but I actually look forward to going to Yoke ❤️ I've most recently had my hair cut by Lucy and I would strongly recommend her to everyone ☺️

Their Instagram states they are ‘friendly’ and website states welcomes ‘newbies’. Completely the opposite! Tried to book an appointment which had to be via email as their phone line was having an issue. At first email communication was with a Lori, then the owner Jo had taken over. All I wanted was my bob hair cut cut, re-shaped and styled. Had to come in prior appointment first for a 10 min consultation. I’m not local and said I’m taking time off work, so could consultation be done on day of actual appointment. No … it had to be at least 2 days before. They could then book me in for an actual appointment for 6 March with Erin. I thought ok, well, was planning to go cinema soon, could pop in for a consultation then. Emailed to advise this and requested to please book me in. 27 emails this has taken so far!? I received an email today from Jo advising I am not the ‘right fit’ and withdrawing her offer of an appointment!? Wow!? This is how Yoke treat new customers! I am very upset as what does not ‘the right fit’ mean?
