Studying at IOT for me has been an amazing experience and I loved it. The teachers were brilliant, patient and really cared about my needs. I highly appreciated the way in which they go above and beyond to help in what ever way they can to ensure I did well in all task given and even stayed over to explain topics that I just could not comprehend. I am elated that IOT was the chosen institution for my Trichology studies and anyone who chooses this career path, this is the place to go.

I was lucky enough to have Shirley McDonald treating me when I visited the Institute of Trichologists. She made me feel at ease instantly and mostly importantly listened to/heard. I appreciated her approach to my hair loss - looking at it in such a holistic way and tackling it so. I felt so encourage by Shirley and so grateful that I took the decision to get treatment and that it ended up being her who started me on this journey. She was clear, explained everything to do with my current conditions, offered up lots of information and potential options but I never felt overwhelmed. She took her time and was open to discussion. Plus she was just open and empathetic. Hair can be and is so emotive and Shirley understands that and framed her treatment in this way. So I am at the beginning of my journey but feeling positive that I’ve sought help and found it in the bucketloads. I’d recommend the Institute of Trichologists in a heartbeat.

I chose to study with the IOT as I knew it to be a renowned institution, recognised internationally. As a former teacher, I was looking for an education provider that would have a properly structured course and suitable accreditation. It has been a privilege to study with the IOT. The quality of teaching delivered was exceptional. I especially appreciated that the patient and ethics were at the heart of everything the Institute stands for. I cannot thank the tutors enough for sharing such a wealth of knowledge, real world advice, their student focus, generosity of time and for the endless support.
