I had FUE hair transplant in September 2023, and since then I haven’t looked back! I had a thorough consultation with Dr Kunnure. I discussed with him my concerns around hair loss and my expectations. He was very attentive to my concerns and understood my expectations. He took full medical information about me and then he did a detailed examination of the donor area. Then he drew the hairline and showed where it will be and the reasons. I wanted a bit lower hairline, but he convinced me the level he drew , and now after two years I fully understand the reasons , it looks so natural now. On the day of the surgery, he went through the process again and explained how the procedure will be carried out on the day. First part was drawing the hairline , taking my Blood pressure, and then he went through the consent form and we signed it together. Then he explained the procedure and I had my hairs trimmed by the technician. The first part was lying face down and then he gave me anaesthetic. He did the punching himself and took out 2200 grafts in under 2 hrs with a break in between. The second part was making incisions in the frontal area , which he did , and then lunch break and then technicians implanted the grafts under his supervision. The whole process lasted about 6 hrs and then I had a detailed discussion with him about the care afterwards. I was given written instructions and shampoo , and spray bottle , neck pillow , Painkillers, to take home. I had full support and direct access to him on WhatsApp which was very reassuring and very important for me to have direct access to Surgeon. Support after the surgery and until recently was excellent. As you can see there is a huge difference, and I am so happy and extremely grateful I could get it done in the UK.
