I had a lovely experience at HLR when I visited before Christmas. The ladies were very professional and informative. Being a little nervous as this was my 1st time with a hair piece, they made me feel very comfortable with how the process would happen and look when completed. The stylist was very experienced and offered me some different styles I would never have thought of. Looking forward to my refit to try another look hopefully! I was able to use my PRSI contributions towards the cost on my new piece. Excellent location for anyone in city centre with parking available in close proximity too.

Tai was incredible today a Stylist of 25 yrs myself i felt at ease with her confidence. I had previous installation in a different place that wasn't great .so I was spexific what I needed especially with my triclomania. The install is perfect and feels great and hair looks gorge again. As a small business owner it pains me to have to write such a negative review. But unfortunately I have no choice. I had a system fitted in early November in Dublin. It was my first ever time having anything like this done and I was genuinely worried, scared and apprehensive about the whole experience. Having something like this done is a big deal, very bloody big. The fitting process was a strange experience for me as the lady styling my hair throughout the process kept recommending/ suggesting an alternative treatment and other hair clinics I should try. That was the first red flag. The second red flag was the same stylist openly said that she rarely cuts / styles men’s hair and was more comfortable styling ladies hair and hair systems. When I was finished and my system was “revealed” I was absolutely speechless. So much so that I genuinely couldn’t wait to get out of there quick enough to put a hat on. Admittedly the colouring was spot on but the system itself was styled horrifically and in my opinion placed too far back on my head. I completely admit I should have said something there and then but I was genuinely broken and what I was looking at. When I did subtly ask was the stying ok, I was told “we can style it better the next time” (in a month). When I was paying the balance of my €1000 bill it all became clear. I was informed I was their second ever male customer, it all made sense there and then. They have no experience or very little in doing men’s systems. Since that day I have never returned. And absolutely amazingly I have never once heard from the salon themselves. Not one conversation with them. Where do they think I am with an overgrown system. The level of customer care and service is probably the most disappointing thing. I would have loved a follow up call from them asking was I doing ok and happy with the system. But nothing in 10 weeks. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. They got €1000 off me and brushed me aside. Thankfully I have found a competitor who has patched up my system, styles my hair and treats me with a bit of respect. And I have more suitable system ordered with them. Writing this review hurt me but I really hope they can learn from how I was treated.
