I visited the wig centre with my daughter prior to the start of my chemo.. Tina made what could have been a very negative experience a very positive one! She was warm & friendly and very knowledgeable.. even managed to take my wig away with me after a quick fringe trim! would not hesitate to recommend this service and Tina to anyone, regardless of their situation.

Thin, receding, disappearing...my hair was doing it all. After years of dithering and losing confidence and my big birthday photos looking awful. I went to the Essex Wig Centre. Why did i ever delay? I now have a topper which blends perfectly with my remaining hair and has returned ME ! I have my fringe back and my confidence too. I genuinly look like me before the 5 years of hair loss. Please dont doubt going...wonderful staff, Tina in particular, and the hour appointment has changed my life and confidence. I was becoming a bit of a hermit !!

I’m a first time wearer due to a medical condition and was extremely nervous and emotional . I needn’t have worried . From booking the appointment to actually going they couldn’t have done more to make me feel at ease. From the moment I arrived everyone was so friendly and the lady I saw guided me through the whole process so brilliantly I think I actually started to have fun trying out the different styles and colours. Once I’d made my choice the after care was fully explained and I actually left wearing my new “do”. I’ll definitely be returning for another one.

My 95 year old mother in law has been a client of this salon for years, having a hair system in latter years due to thinning hair. However, more recently Tina was kind enough to visit my mother in law with a choice of wigs and showed considerable kindness and discretion when trying them all on. When my mother in law had decided which she preferred Tina trimmed the fringe and explained the maintenance of the wig before leaving my mother in law delighted with the result. The whole team are wonderful and we appreciate all that have been involved with Elizabeth’s hair over the years.
