My partner’s father had undergone the procedure with Dr Ditta. This gave me confidence that he was a very competent and well practiced surgeon to give me my hairline back. He offered a video call consultation and did a great job in giving me confidence to proceed. Dr Ditta is a real gent, he kept me at ease throughout. He explained what to expect and in fairness it wasn’t so unpleasant that if I had to do it again - I’d do it. The local anaesthetic was applied promptly and began to get to work very quickly with top ups when required. A lunch and a few breaks with hot chocolates in between made it as good as I could have expected. I had a little over 3000 grafts and it took around 8 and an half hours. There was an Tv with the usual Netflix, Prime, YouTube etc. on completion Dr Ditta gave me all the useful advice I needed to look after my scalp and the saline spray, baby shampoo, neck pillow plus antibiotics. Overall I’m very happy with the progress. When the scabs came off I had a full head of hair which gives me confidence that when it goes into its new growth phase I’ll be ecstatic with the results! It’s now approximately 6 weeks since the transplant and I’m excited to see the final result. I’ve now seen a good amount of shedding and starting to have baby hairs growing through. Sharon is fantastic and always available to speak to with any concerns. She issued me with the Finasteride and Minoxidyl which I've been taking once my scalp appeared well healed.

The entire process through initial phone call to completion of the surgery was flawless. Sharon was brilliant, being there every step of the way to explain each step and answer any questions. The surgery team made you feel at ease from the start and went above and beyond to make your day as comfortable as possible. I can not speak highly enough of them.
