The Hair and wig room

Very disappointing. Promised she would be able to remove current sewn in topper and would let me try on toppers and she would put my old one back if I needed to order. When I got there after a significant journey was told must have miscommunication somewhere And she can’t do it and she has no toppers to show me as moving spaces. I know what she promised would not have done journey otherwise! Why make promises and raise hopes when you know you aren’t going to fulfill them?? To top it all (sorry for pun!) it’s been three weeks now not heard a thing despite being told she would “be in touch”! Obviously not interested (nor am I now!) so I wouldn’t recommend sadly and feel very let down and disillusioned.

I can’t speak highly enough of Sheena. Such a positive experience- she is helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate. There is no hard-sell - just someone who genuinely wants to help.

The initial telephone call to the shop, for advice and to book a consultation for my Mum told me all I needed to know. Sheena was knowledgeable, helpful, obviously cared and offered great advice with empathy and understanding. Sheena went out of her way to fit us in the following day as I would be in the area visiting my parents. The consultation appointment with Sheena was the first appointment of 4 we had lined up for the day. (I always think you should shop around) Needless to say, after visiting Sheena we cancelled our other appointments for the day and I took my Mum for lunch instead. Bonus ! Sheena spent a lot of time and attention, going through the options available for my Mum, who is 72 and experiencing genetic hair loss. There was no sales pitch, no pushing the service or products, just an open conversation about my Mum's needs and how she could get some confidence back. It turned out to be less cost than we thought and my Mum is over the moon with her new hair ! It took 9 days from consultation, samples being ordered, second appointment which included fitting. Sheena is a qualified hairdresser also, and so made sure to trim the hair so that it was completely in keeping with my Mums current style. My Mum went to a neighbours party that very same day and everyone thought she had been to the hairdressers to have her hair done ! You would never know she had a hair piece. I can not recommend highly enough ! From start to finish. Superb. My lovely Mums got her confidence back and is completely over the moon ! as am I ! Thank you Sheena !
