Having plucked up the courage finally to get a wig, I was hugely dissappointed at my first ever appt to get a wig. This was at the Carlisle branch.I was offered a topper and 2 wigs to try. Wigs were not my size and nothing available to try in my size . No human hair available to try which was my preference. It was suggested choose from catalogue however £10 charge for returning if not suitable. Having not tried something that fitted to see what it feels like I did not want to order in case wrong. I was not measured. It was not explained about different wigs available e.g. lace front and different caps, methods of securing wigs etc. The very pleasant advisor apologised for lack of wigs to try. No wigs on display even in the private room. Did not feel I had much enthusiasm from advisor and left very sad from the experience. This did not live up to the experience advertised online. I was not charged the fee for the consultation thankfully.It was recommended to go to Newcastle as it had a selection of wigs and this branch did not keep many because its primarily a hairdressers !

Wonderful is the word. Excellent service with the help of Ellie. After years of suffering with post chemo induced alopecia I finally decided to begin wearing a wig. Before & after photos. Makes me feel so confident and relaxed knowing my crowning glory is Perfect. Thank you so much Barbara Burnside

Beyond grateful for the service we received from Ellie at the wonderful wig company in Newcastle. Our 10 year old daughter has Alopecia and the confidence her new wig has given her is unbelievable. The team went above and beyond to make sure Gracie’s wig was almost an exact match to her original hair, even adding highlights at the front where her hair went lighter from the sun. Janet is fantastic, understanding and very helpful. She listens to everything that you want and nothing is a bother. She always responds to messages in a timely manner and processes orders as quickly as possible. If there is a delay from the manufacturers in a wig chosen, she let's you know and gives you the option of choosing another if you are not prepared to wait. Janet is very informative and has a lot of useful information that we have never gotton anywhere else, even dermatologists. Thankyou for your continued superb support and excellent service.
