Joseph's Wigs

Have just made my second purchase from the company. I needed a new hair system in a hurry just before Christmas and Stuart went the extra mile to get it delivered to me in time. In general, the company provides the kind of top-notch personal service you only get from a small business. The website is easy to navigate, prices are competitive and e-mails are replied to promptly. All in all, I'm extremely happy with the service received from Josephs Wigs.

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a while now, but life has been a bit hectic lately. I first contacted Joseph’s Wigs back in February. From the start, Stuart was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing all the information we needed in his first reply. We were in a bit of a rush, as my Nan was due to start chemotherapy the following week and was anxious about losing her hair. Stuart managed to book us an appointment for the following week. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Claire, who took us into a private room and shared a bit of background about herself and the shop. We explained the style and colour we were hoping for and mentioned that we ideally wanted a real hair wig. At the time, we were quite against synthetic wigs, assuming they would look like costume wigs. Claire showed us a selection of wigs made from real hair, synthetic, and synthetic fibre. To our surprise, we actually disliked the real hair options and were blown away by the quality of the synthetic wigs, they looked nothing like what we had imagined. Claire was incredibly patient and supportive as my Nan tried on different styles, switching back and forth until we found two she loved. Claire also took the time to explain how to care for the wigs. I’d also like to mention that we had budgeted around £1,500, but we didn’t even need a third of that. The value for money was incredible. Since then, my Nan has received multiple compliments from strangers about her ‘cut and colour’ only for her to surprise them by revealing it’s actually a wig! She even reckons that once her hair grows back, she might not bother with it anymore and will stick with the wigs instead! About a month later, my Nan decided she wanted to purchase a second wig. The same style as before so she could alternate between them while washing and drying one naturally. Stuart made the whole process seamless; he already had a record of her previous purchase, sent me a payment link, and within two days, the new wig had arrived. We are so grateful for both Claire and Stuart’s support during such a difficult time. They made the three-hour round trip more than worth it. I couldn’t recommend Joseph’s Wigs highly enough. They’re professional, compassionate, and genuinely care about their customers.

I was nervous when i arrived for my appointment, Claire was really kind, helpful, patient and made the experience enjoyable and I felt relaxed straight away. She listened to what I wanted and recommended lots of wigs that I was really happy with. The wigs were comfortable, looked real and good value, and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Joseph Wigs and Claire.

Claire was kind and helpful when I had my appointment. I had just started chemotherapy and was relieved to find 2 wigs that suit me. I bought both. Stewart is helpful in giving advice re colours etc. I bought a wig online No problems. Very happy with the service received. I've just ordered my 4th wig and highly recommend 👌

I booked an appointment with Claire after ordering some awful wigs online from other shops. I had a lovely experience, Claire was so welcoming and helpful. I found a wig I love, it's comfortable, fits perfectly and looks like my own hair. Highly recommend Joseph's!
