Poor customer service, 6 hours for a colour and not what I asked for. I was very clear with multiple pictures and even came in a few days before for a consultation and took my hair to colour to see if would take, (even though had before in other salons) . Then when result wasn’t right, they tried to fix it, made it acceptable to leave in but I was gas light into this is what u wanted kinda thing. The lady even forgot she only cut half my hair in the fuss and started curling to finish before it was all cut! I went straight home cried and didn’t want them to try fix further, so booked another appointment at a different salon for them to fix. They even said what on earth is this it’s grey and green with orange and brown scattered. I’ve never asked for a refund as I appreciate people’s time and products went into making my hair even if a mess. I had already paid in advance so couldn’t really refuse payment but I wish I had. I also thought how they slagged off clients before they came was really poor I saw it happen twice and other lady sat waiting with me as they opened also saw this and looked at me and rolled her eyes. I wanted a nice relaxing experiance where I could get my hair done, as a mom time and money is very limited and hear it took 6 hours and it wasn’t relaxing I was anxious the whole way though. When asked at the end is this ok happy, I said yes it’s better and left. I didn’t want anyone else fixing this in that place. So odd to be told Tin fouls are for old school methods I prefer free hand. Maybe old school methods are there for a reason.

I visited BLONDE ENVY by Zigzag in Towcester a week before my birthday to get highlights on my very dark, almost black hair. I explained clearly that my hair is difficult to bleach and tends to go copper or green if not handled correctly. The staff assured me they were experienced with blonding and even did a test strand, which seemed okay at the time. However, the actual results were disappointing. My roots still had visible grey hairs, and instead of the bright blonde I asked for, my hair turned out a brownish-copper tone. After washing it at home, it became even more coppery-red — exactly the color I was trying to avoid. When I went back politely to ask for a correction, they offered to tone it but wanted to charge me an additional £60. I didn’t feel it was fair to pay extra to fix something that didn’t meet the agreed expectations in the first place. If you have dark or resistant hair, I would advise caution. While they may be suitable for lighter or easy-to-lift hair, my experience was disappointing, both in results and in customer service when things didn’t go as promised.

I have been coming to this salon for years. Becca is brilliant and has worked with me to find a semi-permanent colour that works well for me and my very sensitive skin, which reacts to permanent colour. Becca also cuts my autistic daughter’s hair. She always clearly explains what will be happening, which helps my daughter feel comfortable. We always both leave looking fabulous, thank you Becca!

I had a great appointment today, it was my first time at the salon and I was made to feel comfortable straight off. I went in with a miss mash of box dyed hair, Richard listened to what I would like to achieve and he smashed it. Amy has also done a lovely cut. I was in there for some time, and they always made sure I didn't need anything, and I had plenty of drinks while there Thank you both, I can't wait for my next appointment
