After suffering from a dry flakey scalp for most of my adult life and it getting seriously worse and with the addition of itching developing after menopause I decided to seek the help of a professional. I was delighted to find Lisa at Northants Hair and Scalp Clinic so local to me. I had tried absolutely every treatment available over the years, none of which had a lasting effect. Before my initial consultation I filled out a comprehensive questionnaire about health, diet and lifestyle then at my appointment Lisa had a look at my scalp under magnification and prescribed a treatment which she carried out at the clinic then an ongoing lotion, shampoo and conditioner regime which I was to continue on at home until my next appointment. I stuck to this exactly and within a few weeks the odour had completely gone and the flakiness had considerably subsided and my scalp no longer itched. At subsequent appointments Lisa tweaked my home and clinic treatments. I’m delighted with the health of my scalp, once again I have the confidence to wear dark colours. Lisa is a very friendly professional and put me at ease straight away. She is very understanding and makes no judgement about what is an embarrassing problem. She works hard investigating the root cause and finding solutions. I will be continuing a clinic scalp exfoliation treatment going forward and using the prescribed home scalp and hair care regime. I would not hesitate to recommend Lisa at the NH&SC.

I have had a consultation with Lisa she has been amazing my hair has been falling out for a long time and I have not been feeling to good I went to see Lisa and she went through all my past blood tests and found my thyroid levels was not right she advised me to go to my doctor and have more blood tests I did and it turns out my thyroid has been under active for at least a year. I highly recommend Lisa she has done so much for me in just one visit I look forward to seeing her again soon.

I have been to see Lisa twice, she made me feel very welcome and at ease. I was a little emotional at my 1st appointment and Lisa was very understanding, also making me realise that alopecia areata is quite a common diagnosis and there were things she could suggest/supply that could help, although there is no cure. I have been to see Lisa again today for my 2nd appointment. I was concerned my main area, at the side/rear of my head, was getting worse, using her camera and previous photos taken, Lisa reassured me that it had not increased in size and there was also new growth coming. I had seen the GP previously to seeing Lisa, but seeing someone who is trained in hair and scalp issues and knew exactly what they are dealing with has been very reassuring. I am booked to see Lisa again in January.

Just picked up my 3rd pack of specialist shampoo &treatment. It has been nearly a year since Lisa diagnosed my scalp condition. I had previously tried every product on the market non of which worked. Now it’s so under control it’s great. Five stars for Lisa.

Been making a lot of progress with Lisa and the team here at the Northants Hair and Scalp Clinic. Lisa is very personable and we’re addressing my concerns the correct way. I would highly recommend her to anyone and looking forward to seeing how the treatment progresses
