I had my hairline procedure with Dr Mark Tam and I wanted to leave a review because I genuinely feel grateful for the care I received. From the first consultation, he came across as calm, honest, and precise. He listened properly, explained the plan clearly, and never tried to oversell anything. That mattered to me because this is not a small decision and you want to feel confident that the person in front of you understands what you are aiming for and will do it properly. On the day of the procedure, Dr Tam was steady and reassuring throughout. His attention to detail was obvious, and the whole experience felt structured, safe, and well managed. The team were also excellent and kept things running smoothly, but Dr Tam’s professionalism and composure really stood out. It is early in the journey, but even at this stage I feel I made the right choice. If you are considering hairline work and want someone who is careful, measured, and clearly takes pride in doing things properly, I would recommend Dr Mark Tam without hesitation.

Dr Tam and his team are simply amazing. From the initial consultation I felt at ease (I also had the advantage of seeing the results of a friend who had his HT with Dr Tam last year). He is very personable and entertaining. I flew in specifically to have the surgery with him - the pre-op appointment was very smooth and I knew I was in safe hands. The day of surgery was an early start and ended very late into the night. Dr Tam and his team take no shortcuts and are highly experienced in what they do. Unlike a lot of other HT options, Dr Tam is there the entire time and performs the majority of the work himself, and also reviews the work done by any technicians. He also uses a smaller punch than many other clinics, which takes true skill but gives much better results! Aftercare was superb, with follow up appointments before I flew back home. 1 month in and my scalp looks very healthy and I cannot wait for the results to grow in!

I’ve had an excellent experience with Dr Mark Tam so far and would highly recommend him. I had a hair transplant of 4000+ grafts in one single operation which lasted for almost 18 hours. I am impressed by the professionalism, care and tenacity of Dr Tam and his team. What really stood out is that the entire process is completely surgeon-led — from the initial video consultation, in-person consult, the procedure itself, the Day 1 check-up, and even post-op issue handling. Dr Tam was personally involved at every stage, which gave me a lot of confidence. I had an unexpected post-op incident where some grafts were affected, and Dr Tam responded immediately, asked me to come into the clinic straight away, and personally re-implanted the grafts. The speed, professionalism, and calm, patient-first approach were genuinely impressive. Dr Tam also has a strong understanding of Asian hairlines and took a very natural, artistic approach to the hairline design rather than creating an artificial straight line, which was important to me. The team has been professional and caring throughout, and the new clinic at 121 Harley Street is state-of-the-art and pristine. I also did my own research for other clinics which are more sales-first or technician-assisted in London. Dr Tam's high quality hands-on operation and surgeon-led experience is definitely worth the money.
